Innovative: Chisel harvester with 3 shock belts

Especially developed to harvest first-year onion sets. The machine is equipped with 3 belts. Each belt is provided with hydraulically driven shock shafts to ensure a maximum sieving capacity. Furthermore the machine is equipped with an input reel which is hydraulically driven and which may be used in case of rougher parcels. The machine has rear-wheel steering and the harvesting depth/steering can be operated by means of the control panel in the truck.

Lubrication system for the harvesting shaft bearings

Now that the lubricating nipples of the harvesting shaft bearing are replaced by an automatic lubrication cup you can make sure that this lubrication point will, at the correct moment, be provided with the previously established amount of lubricant. This will prolong the life cycle of your bearings which will make a difference when it comes to maintenance activities and costs.

New Concept: Complete chicory harvester

Two complete chicory harvesters were constructed. To be able to offer value for money a stripped sugar-beet harvester was used. The frame is our own manufacture and the harvesting part is especially designed for chicory. The first machine is in use by the agricultural service supply company Breure in Swifterbant. "The machine operates unparalleled; it is like a Ferrari among cars. It only needs to be adjusted a little, but the principle of the machine is good”. For the construction of the chicory harvester a Riecam RBM 300 sugar-beet harvester is used. The engine, the drive and the cabin originate from the sugar-beet harvester. For the remainder the chicory harvester is manufactured at Ellens Landbouw Techniek. “An agricultural contractor uses the machine to harvest 100 to 150 hectares of chicory. This means that the price tag should not be too high. You can not depart from all new materials”, according to Onno Ellens.

8 Boxes carrot trucks

Under commission of Maatschap Vos in Bant Ellens Landbouw Techniek developed and manufactured carrot trucks with a capacity of 8 boxes. The truck unloads its boxes by means of a roller system. The objective of the construction of these trucks is to load and unload the boxes as easy and as fast as possible. This season the carrot trucks are used at Maatschap Vos during the carrot harvest.
